Before journalism, I worked for the National Trust, leading one of their footpath repair teams.
I went to Easedale Tarn in Grasmere and Stickle Ghyll, Langdale to look at some work I did some 30 years ago.
Here's a shot that shows the before and after, at Sour Milk Ghyll, restored some 25 years ago
